COMBINING OUR CROWN AND ROOT THROUGH THE POWER OF CACAO
Many spiritual people I know and have come into contact with “testify guilty” as to have been living their life in the top chakras, from the heart chakra and up, through the throat chakra, third eye, and crown. It is very common, and I think it stems from a feeling of disconnect to matter here on earth that many spiritual people struggle with. Many highly spiritual people express that they have experienced feelings ever since childhood where they have felt like they did not belong and found it hard to understand what goes on here on planet earth. Is it possible that this is some kind of reaction to the presence of our physical bodies, a reluctance to fully embody in the physical matter of our bodies? Just imagine, as we come to earth and become solid form and matter, we materialize in a body with so many limitations, it may be quite shocking for the soul coming from being a light being to being embodied… it is a tough one for many to grasp. But the fact remains, we are incarnated here and we have to relate to our physical form, our embodied body! And a part of the lesson is to learn to love it too! And to feel juicy and yummy in our sensual feeling bodies! The thing is, there is a great thing to be grateful for, being incarnated enables us to feel and to be sensuously experienced. We love to use cacao to help with this because when you drink a cacao-based drink you can’t help but to feel alive with all the energy and vitality that you receive with every sip.
THANK GODDESS FOR CACAO
Cacao is known as the food of the gods and has been used for thousands of years in the Americas as part of rituals and for medicinal purposes. There is probably a reason why Cacao was known as the food of the gods, and that may be because Cacao is also loaded with health benefits and by consuming it they noticed the positive benefits. Cocao contains more flavonoids, a type of antioxidant, than most foods, producing anti-inflammatory effects for our bodies. These antioxidant effects of cacao have been shown to influence insulin resistance reducing the risk for diabetes and improving the health of our immune system. Cocao protects our nerves from injury and inflammation, our skin from damage from UV radiation, and provides positive benefits for our cognitive function and mood. The Kuna Indians of the San Blas islands of Panama consume an average of three 10-ounce cups of cacao beverages daily. Their population has very low levels of hypertension and their blood pressure does not increase with age. They also experience lower rates of diabetes, stroke, and cancer.
There is a reason why chocolate is so seductive right… And as part of this waking up to loving our physical bodies rant we have going here today, let’s indulge that sensuous divine body with a heavenly cacao smoothie!
Inspired by Shakira we called this smoothie
HIPS DON’T LIE SMOOTHIE
- 2 topped tablespoons Raw cacao powder
- 1-2 bananas
- 4 fresh dates
- 2 leaves from Dandelion, or 1 tsp wheatgrass powder
- 1 small beetroot, or 1 tsp beet powder
- 1 tsp Spirulina
- 1/2 l Rice milk with coconut, you can substitute parts of this with water if desired
- 1-2 tablespoons creamed coconut
- 1 tablespoon cold-pressed coconut oil
- 1 drop essential oil of Black Pepper
Wizz up the smoothie, pour yourself a big glass, enjoy fully sensuous, and turn on the music! Loud! It is all set to let those hips get the opportunity to speak their own language of sensuous movements, feeling your root chakra open and revitalize. Awesome day, you get to shake those hips, it allows for the transformation of old stuff to shift in your muscles and your lower chakras. Move that beautiful body, shake, shake, and fire it up. Feeling juicy. Feeling grateful. Feeling blissful and ecstatic. It is like a volcanic eruption followed by bliss
