WHAT IS RAW FOOD?
Raw food is a fully vegan diet, based on fruits, berries, greens, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Preferably make sure the produce you use should be organic, of course. As the name raw food indicates, you do not heat treat the food, except if desired it can be heated up to 42’C, which is a little higher than body temperature. By avoiding heat treatment the food keeps its nutritional value in a better way, all for us to enjoy by maximum physical absorption of the nutrients. To embark on a fully or partially raw diet is to embark on a path that changes your whole physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual body, and with some time you will transform. The change will be according to how much dedication you yourself put into it if you go fully raw overnight that, of course, will be an intense ride, but you will see the results quickly. Leaving the caterpillar behind and magically becoming the beautiful butterfly.
SOME CHALLENGES YOU MIGHT FACE
Changing your diet always gets in the way of how others, your friends, and family, most of all mum, maybe, think about food. When you change your diet, it is as if you say to them that what they eat is not good enough, and they have a strong attachment to what they eat, you will notice this. The way we eat is largely emotional. We eat to enjoy a social gathering, to celebrate a special occasion, and we eat to comfort ourselves. We eat if we are stressed; we eat after making love. And the choice of food we make then is not always what sustains the body the best, it might also just be to release an emotional state. When it comes to food, our emotions have become very important to what we pick up, not what is the one thing that will sustain my body in the best possible way, what will nourish me the best and assist my body in staying in highest possible frequency, healing modality and improved state, rather than ill health, lack of energy and a state where it is the addictions and cravings that rule instead of the physical body itself. The body has this enormous inate ability to self heal, to rebalance and restore, it is about letting go of all the mental blocks to allow for this. No wonder friends and family might give you a hard time with changing your diet and upping your game, as it causes them to feel bad about their own patterns. And changing the diet and the food pattern is one of the hardest things to do, that and staying abstinent from sexual release.
KEEP YOUR EGO OUT OF IT
We find that this is the best way to deal with the challenges you might face, do not go into a battle of the egos about this. Let it slide with humor, friendliness, even though you yourself already have seen the results in your own body and would like for them to embark on the same path as you. Don’t become the preacher who knows it all (even though it will feel like you have had an epiphany). Let your actions speak for them self. They will soon start to see the changes on you after all, how your eyes start to light up, how your energy seems high, and the way you walk is more joyful and happy. It will be evident to all how you seem to be in a very good place mentally and emotionally. Let this guide you instead. Fall into the soft energy of the raw foods, and do no harm to others, it will make you feel even better about yourself.

Be passionate and open yourself up fully to this way of eating, take one day at a time. Do not stress if you only do breakfast meals raw, and then the rest of the day slides a little, be gentle to yourself, and tell yourself all is well. If you can manage to do a minimum 50% of your food intake every day fully raw, you will soon start to see amazing results with your health and your state of mind. Then if you slowly can get to 70% or 80 % — wow! Maybe you want to go fully 100% raw, I certainly did for a long time, but I find that I am happy at 70-80% too. You will find the balance that works for you, just make sure it is about loving your life. Don’t get into any stress about how you should have done better… It defeats the purpose. It really is about giving YOU the best possible nutrition, because that is what YOU deserve. You will soon start to love your new lifestyle, and this passion you start to feel for it will fill and transform your life, making you a happier, more content, light filled, healthy and radiant.
